Amy McDonald, the Scottish singer and songwriter, taught herself guitar after being inspired by Travis at the T in the Park festival in 2000. She then went onto play in a number of coffee houses and pubs around Glasgow at 15, before she was discovered after sending in a demo tape to NME.

Since then Amy McDonald has released her first album, 'This is the Life,' played at nearly all the major UK music festivals, and is currently working on a second album. She is set to play at venues in Glasgow and London ahead of its release.
