Joy Formidable are formed of Ritzy Bryan, Rhidian Dafydd and Matt Thomas and are based in London, England, although originally from North Wales. Joy Formidable will be playing live in the UK for tour dates as part of the NME Awards Tour, as well as their own headline tour to support their first full length album "The Big Roar".

Joy Formidable UK Tour

Joy Formidable are an indie rock band from Wales. The band formed in 2007 from the remnants of lead singer and guitarist Ritzy Bryan and bassist Rhidian Dafydd's former band Sidecar Kisses.
The band have played both Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds Festivals, to a crowd of dedicated fans.
Joy Formidable were named the Guardian's "One To Watch" in 2008, and their first single "Austere" gained attention from being featured on trailers for Channel 4's Skins. The single was featured on the 8-track EP "A Baloon Called Moaning" which was followed by a full album, "The Big Roar", released in January 2011.
