A quick browse of eBay today and you’ll find a number of premium tickets for sale at well over £1000. The highest asking prices on show are for front row tickets trading at £1777 per ticket with an original face value of just £100.
Whilst this price tag might deter all but the most die hard fans with the deepest pockets there do seem to be plenty of loyal supporters ready to dig deep to see George in action. As is often the case, prices can vary significantly for near-identical seats so fans are urged to compare tickets carefully before parting with cash. A £399 ticket might seem steep but is excellent value when you realise that a neighbouring seat on offer for £990.
