Hamilton One Step Closer to Lifelong Dream
October 20th, 2008 by Gregory Jones
Yesterday (19th October 2008), Lewis Hamilton won the Chinese F1 Grand Prix and edged closer to realising his dream of becoming the World Champion. The 23 year old Brit is now 7 points clear of arch-rival Felipe Massa who finished in second place in Shanghai.
There is now one Grand Prix remaining that takes place in Massa’s native Brazil on 2nd November. Providing Hamilton finishes in front of the Brazilian, he will claim the World Championship. In fact, providing Massa finishes outside the top 5, Hamilton is all but guaranteed the title.
British F1 fans will be keen to see their hero in action next season when the circuit reaches Silverstone. The race is scheduled to take place on 21st June and tickets are already listed online with prices starting at £165.
