Take That take on Britney in Circus Duel

Both Britney Spears and Take That are due to release their latest albums next Monday and reports claim that the boyband are comfortably ahead in the pre-sales market. The two records with near-identical names will be on sale next week and thousands of fans are pre-ordering both titles. Take That’s, The Circus will be taking on Britney Spears’, Circus in next week’s official UK album charts. According to reports, Take That should have no trouble in knocking Leona Lewis from her perch and claiming the number one title.
Take That will be hoping to outsell Coldplay’s latest multi-platinum record, Viva la Vida and take the biggest selling album of 2008 accolade.
Both Britney Spears and Take That will be embarking on UK tours next summer. Britney Spears visits London for two shows at the O2 Arena which takes place on the 3rd and 4th June. Tickets have yet to go on sale, but there is expected to be a huge demand to see Britney perform. Take That will also be kicking of their huge summer tour in June. The 18 date outing kicks-off in Sunderland and comes to a close in London a month later. Hundreds of tickets are still available to see Take That in action.
Take That’s live music chart rivals, Coldplay have also recently confirmed a 2009 tour. Tickets for Coldplay’s 2009 Stadium Tour went on sale today. The band will be playing shows at Wembley Stadium and Old Trafford Cricket Ground next September. Coldplay kick-off their 2008 winter tour this Saturday. Hundreds of tickets are still available for all of the performances. The 17 night jaunt includes stops in Glasgow, Birmingham and London.
