Tennant back on stage

January 5th, 2009 by Gregory Jones

David Tennant recently returned to play the lead role of latest RSC production of Hamlet at the West End’s Novello Theatre. The Dr Who star was ruled out by a back injury on December 8th, but he was back on stage this past Saturday (3rd January) to take part in the final week of performances.

Whilst the current run of performances is coming to a close, Shakespeare fans will be delighted to learn that Hamlet is returning to the stage in May. The RSC production of Hamlet starring David Tennant is moving to the Wyndham’s Theatre in London. Hamlet tickets are selling fast, but tickets to see David Tennant play Hamlet are still available.
