Beck and Clapton to unite on stage

It has recently been confirmed that Jeff Beck will join Eric Clapton for two massive shows at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. The two rock legends will play back to back concerts together on the February 21 and 22 at the 37,000 capacity venue.

Jeff Beck was today confirmed as one of this year’s inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The former Yardbird’s guitarist will be joined by other music legends including Metallica and Run DMC.

Jeff Beck will also be touring the UK this year and it is shaping up to be one of the must see events of 2009. The Jeff Beck tour begins in Brighton on June 24 and climaxes at the Royal Albert Hall in London on July 4. The Jeff Beck tour also stops off at the Carling Apollo Manchester (June 27), Belfast’s Ulster Hall (June 30)and the Southampton Guidhall (July 3). Jeff Beck tickets are available for all of the dates with prices from £33.

Eric Clapton is also touring this year. The Eric Clapton tour includes dates at the Liverpool Echo Arena (May 13), Manchester Evening News Arena (May 14) and an eleven night residency at the Royal Albert Hall (May 16 – 31). Hundreds of Eric Clapton tickets are still available with prices starting at £45.
