WWE Pins Down ACDC to Perform at Wrestlemania XXV

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) have achieved a major coup in securing legendary rock band AC/DC to appear at the WWE Wrestlemania XXV.
WWE CEO Linda McMahon announced at the 36th annual Global Media and Communications Conference in New York that the Australian band will perform the theme for this year’s event, which takes place on April 5.
AC/DC will use this performance as a warm up to their forthcoming UK and Ireland tour which will see them perform to sell out crowds in London, Dublin, Manchester,Birmingham, Kildare, and Glasgow.

Wrestlemania XXV is regarded as the highlight of the World Wrestling calender and this year will feature such superstars as John Cena, Edge, Shelton Benjamin, CM Punk, Melina,Vince McMahon and The Rock. UK Wrestling fans will have their own opportunity to witness these superstars in action soon after Wrestlemania XXV when WWE RAW (April 15 – 24) and WWE Smackdown (April 20 -23) come to the United Kingdom and Ireland.
