Klaxons suprise London show
February 4th, 2009 by Warren Moore
Klaxons showcased new material at a low key show at Madame Jojos in London, last night (Feb 4).
With tickets costing £10 on the door and sold on a first come first serve basis, fans queued down the street to see the four-piece play a variety of both old and new songs.
Much of the new songs seemed to boast a rockier edge than those on the band’s debut album, ‘Myths Of The Near Future’. However while showcasing an edgier, guitar-driven sound, the bands new tracks still contained elements of Klaxons trademark melodic choruses and harmony-driven hooks.
Klaxons are rumoured to be announcing details of further intimate London gigs this February.
Klaxons set List:
‘Magick’
‘Moonhead’
‘As Above So Below’
‘Imaginary’
‘Golden Skans’
‘Silver Forest’
‘Gravity’s Rainbow’
‘Valley Of The Calm Trees’
‘Atlantis To Interzone’
