Pete Doherty follows in Oscar Wildes footsteps

It has been announced that Pete Doherty is set to give a lecture at Trinity College in Dublin tomorrow Friday (February 4).
The singer will be the guest of The University Philosophical Society (‘The Phil’) following in the footsteps of past speakers including Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker, Helen Mirren, Al Pacino and John McCain.
Pete is currently on a promotional tour to support his eagerly anticipated debut solo album ‘Grace/Wastelands’ released March 16 and his subsequent nationwide solo tour.
The twelve date Pete Doherty tour kicks off at Cardiff University on March 13 and concludes at the Edinburgh Picture House on March 27. Before the tour begins, Pete Doherty is due to play two of the Shockwaves NME Awards show nights. Pete Doherty will play shows at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London on February 22 and Glasgow Barrowlands on february 24.
Tickets to see Pete Doherty on his first full UK tour will be available from £45.
