It has been confirmed that both of the UK dates on the 2009 Sticky and Sweet Madonna tour sold out shortly after tickets went on general sale. Madonna is set to play shows at the O2 Arena (July 4) and the Manchester Evening News Arena (July 7). The two huge venues with capacities of approximately 20,000 were sold out within the hour and many fans did not manage to secure tickets to see Madonna in concert.

Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets to see Madonna in concert, two further dates have been added. Madonna will play an additional date at each venue.

Despite the fact that both Madonna tour dates sold out so quickly, hundreds of tickets are still available on the resale market. Madonna tickets are available for both UK dates of the 2009 Madonna tour and prices start at £137.
