The American songstress will play the Manchester Evening News Arena on June 17 2009 as part of the her forth coming ‘Britney Spears The Circus Tour’.

The pop princess has decided to supplement her already sold out nine date residency at London’s O2 Arena this June with one final UK show in the north of England. It had previously been rumoured that Madonna would be joining Britney on stage during the UK leg of her world tour, however this now seems unlikely following Madonna’s own announcement of a UK tour this coming July in the O2 Arena and also MEN Arena (July 4 July 5 July 7).

Tickets for Britney Spears’ Manchester show go on sale tomorrow (Feb 13) at 9am. Tickets are still available for the O2 shows and are available from £49.50
