Tina Turner postpones London and Sheffield shows

It has been reported that Tina Turner has postponed two shows on her current UK tour due to illness.

The American star who has been taken ill suffering from what seem to be a fu virus has officially cancelled tomorrow night’s London O2 Arena show (March 11) and also Thursday nights show at the Sheffield Arena (March 12).

Tina Turner promoters have been quick to react and reschedule these cancelled gigs in order appease disappointed fans. The London O2 Arena show has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday May 3, while the Sheffield Arena date will now take place two days later on tuesday May 5.

Tickets for both the London O2 Arena and Sheffield Arena shows remain valid while fans without tickets may still avail of tickets for these and other shows on Tina Turner’s 2009 tour including shows at Manchester’s MEN Arena (March 30 & April 4) and Birmingham’s NIA (April 7 & 8). Tina Turner tickets are still available with ticket prices from £55.
