Britney spears looks set to extend european tour further still

Britney Spears is set to announce two Irish summer gigs as part of her overall European tour.

It has been reported that final negotiations are under way to bring Britney Spears to Dublin this summer for several gigs in the RDS Arena.

The pop star’s concerts in US have been going down a storm as she performs a string of 49 smash-hit dates as part of her Circus comeback tour.

It is now widely speculated that the pop princess will add Irish tour dates to the end of her British tour, which consists of 8 gigs including performances at London’s O2 Arena this June.

Britney Spears’ lawyers recently discussed the prospect of expanding the performances to include Australia and extra dates in Europe. She is expected to get the go-ahead to play Melbourne and Sydney along with several other locations as she continues to re-ignite her pop career.

The UK leg of the 2009 Britney Spears Circus tour kicks off at the London O2 Arena June 3. Britney Spears will perform seven further dates at the O2 Arena. Britney Spears will also play one date at the Manchester Evening News Arena on June 17th. Hundreds of Britney Spears tickets are still available with prices from £49.50.
