Kings of Leon, The Killers, and Arctic Monkeys for Lollapalooza 2009

Organiser’s of Lollapalooza 2009 have confirmed Kings of Leon, Depeche Mode, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Jane’s Addiction and Beastie Boys as headliners for this years summer festival.
Also included on what promises to be one of the world’s premium summer 2009 line ups are Vampire Weekend, TV On The Radio, Lou Reed, Passion Pit, Glasvegas, White Lies and Chairlift
The Loollapalooza festival is widely regarded as one of the United States premiere festivals for music fans attracting a broad line up mainstream, emerging and cult acts.
The festival which is due to take place in Chicago’s Grant Park in Chicago this coming August 7, 8 and 9 will also host Animal Collective, Band Of Horses, Of Montreal, Ben Folds, Fleet Foxes, Silversun Pickups, Kaiser Chiefs, Crystal Castles and Santigold will also perform as will Lykke Li, Friendly Fires, Bat For Lashes, and new york rockers The Virgins.
British festival fans will have the opportunity to catch many of the acts confirmed to be performing at Lollapalooza 2009, as many embark on solo tours around the UK or better still have confirmed appearances at some of the many music festivals on offer this summer including, V Festival, Reading Festical, Leeds Festival, T in the Park, Bestival, Hard Rock Calling lattitude, Wireless and Isle of Wight Festival.
