Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix preview

This weekend, the Formula 1 season reaches Bahrain. Qualifying for the 2009 F1 Bahrain begins tomorrow and Jenson Button will be looking to extend his lead at the top of the Formula 1 drivers’ championship.  Jenson Button is currently sitting in first place and his Brawn-Mercedes team mate, Rubens Barrichello, is in second place.

Last season’s champion, Lewis Hamilton, will be looking to improve on his shaky start to the season. Lewis Hamilton is currently lying in tenth place in the F1 drivers’ championship.

The 2008 F1 Bahrain Grand Prix was won by Felipe Massa for the Ferrari . Fellow Ferrari driver, Kimi Räikkönen, was second in the otherand BMW-Sauber driver Robert Kubica finished in third place.
