Michael McIntrye tickets sell in record time

Comedian Michael McIntyre has sold out his forthcoming show at Norwich’s Lowestofts Marina Theatre in record time.

Organisers of the London comedian’s show at the Lowestofts Marina Theatre had taken the steps to make the surprise annoucement that all 700 tickets would be made immediately available to personal callers on a first come first served basis.

Reports have described how crowds of comedy fans desecended on the Norwich theatre eager to secure tickets to one of Britain’s most popular stand up comedians. The lucky few to claim their tickets did so in under one hour as the Lowestrift Theatre box office operated at record speed to satisfy unprecedented demand.

Michael McIntyre has proved to be one of the stand out comedians on tour in 2009 with ticket demand for each of his shows resulting in a near sell out of his UK wide tour this winter.

The Michael McIntrye tour begins on September 11 at Plymouth Pavillion. The tour will then continue onto  Cardiff International Arena on September 23. Michael McIntyre then visits Belfast Odyssey Arena (October 1 & 31), London Wembley Arena (October 2 & 3), Sheffield Hallam FM Arena (October 17), Glasgow SECC (October 24) and London O2 Arena (Novemeber 3).
