It has recently been revealed that Kings of Leon are set to make their first ever appearance on MTV. Surprisingly, the Tennessee rockers, Kings of Leon, have never performed live on MTV.

Kings Of Leon have confirmed that they will join other acts including Eminem at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards ceremony which is set to take place later this month.

The MTV Awards show will take place in Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheatre on May 31 and will be broadcast across the world live on MTV.

Kings Of Leon are likely to perform material from their latest album Only By The Night while Eminem will be performing tracks from his highly anticipated new album Relapse.

Following the hugely successful arena tour last year, Kings of Leon are set to return to the UK this summer. Kings of Leon visit London and Manchester in June. Kings of Leon are set to play three massive shows at the London O2 Arena (15, 16 & 30 June) and two shows at the Manchester Evening News Arena (22 & 23 June).
