Pete Doherty will be playing four solo shows in the UK this September having released his debut solo album Grace/Wastelands earlier this year.

Pete Doherty will play the London Roundhouse (September 19), Leamington Spa Assembly (September 20), Manchester Apollo (September 21) and the Glasgow Barrowlands (September 23).

Tickets to the forthcoming Pete Doherty shows will go on general sale on Friday May 22 at 9am.

Beforehand, Pete Doherty will be making an appearance in some summer festivals this year.

Pete Doherty will be performing at T In The Park in Balado Airfield, Kinross which takes place from Thursday July 9 until Sunday July 12. Pete Doherty will also play the V Festival over the weekend of August 22-23 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Shifnal.

Meanwhile, Pete Doherty’s band mate from The Libertines Carl Barat has not ruled out the possibility of another reunion gig after The Libertines reunited to perform at The Rhythm Factory, London in the early hours of Saturday May 16.

The Libertines were performing at a tribute show for the late promoter Johnny Sedassy. Carl Barat claims that solo work is taking priority right now and that the possibility of a full reunion can be reassessed in 2010.
