Chris Martin from Coldplay will not go solo

Frontman of Coldplay Chris Martin has assured fans he does not have any plans to start a solo career.
Rumours of Chris Martin leaving Coldplay seem to be never ending, but as Coldplay prepare for their UK tour later this year, Chris Martin felt to reassure fans of the band’s future.
Chris Martin reveals that hell would have to freeze over before even considering leaving Coldplay.
He also joked that to launch a solo career would be the result of being dumped by his wife, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, and desperately needing the money.
Chris Martin is actually currently recording a new album with Coldplay, their fifth release due for 2010.
He describes feeling hungry for writing songs all the time, which could be because he is turning 33.
It has also been announced that the support acts for the Coldplay shows at the London Wembley Stadium will be Jay-Z and Girls Aloud, with both acts performing on both dates.
It was previously understood that Jay-Z would support Coldplay on one date and Girls Aloud would be the support act for the other date at the London Wembley Stadium. Now, fans can see both acts on both days.
Also, it has been announced that there is another support act in the shape of White Lies for the Coldplay gigs at the London Wembley Stadium.
Fans can see Coldplay at the Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Club (September 12) and the Glasgow Hampden Park (September 16) before two massive shows at the London Wembley Stadium (September 18 & 19).
