Kings Of Leon launch their own record label
June 18th, 2009 by Peter Bevan
The Kings Of Leon record label is a joint venture with the music publisher Bug Music, who are based in Los Angeles.
Kings Of Leon will have the opportunity to sign new acts and help develop their careers.
The first act to get this support are The Features, a band from Tennessee where the Kings Of Leon are from.
The Features toured the UK and the US with Kings Of Leon in 2007 and their album Some Kind Of Salvation is the first to be released from the new record company.
The track listing and release date for The Features album Some Kind Of Salvation will be announced in the coming weeks.
The CEO of Bug Music John Rudolph claims that Kings Of Leon have what it takes to attract new artists to their label because of the honesty in their own music.
Fans of Kings Of Leon will be pleased to hear that tickets are still available for the Kings Of Leon tour of the album Only By The Night, and for the summer festivals where they will be making an appearance.
The Kings Of Leon tour will take place at the Manchester Evening News Arena on June 22 & 23 and drawing to a close at the London O2 Arena on June 30.
Then, Kings Of Leon will be appearing at T In The Park at the Kinross Balado Airfield (July 10-12) before taking on the Reading and Leeds Festival at the Reading Richfield Avenue and Leeds Bramham Park (August 22-23).
