After a number of summer festival appearances, Basement Jaxx have confirmed plans for a  UK tour this December.

Basement Jaxx will play five dates starting at the Swindon Oasis Leisure Centre (December 6) before stopping off at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall (December 13), Plymouth Pavilions (December 14) and the Bournemouth International Centre (December 16) before closing the tour with a major arena show at the London O2 Arena (December 17).

Basement Jaxx fans can expect them to showcase new songs from their upcoming album titled Scars, which is due for release on September 14.

Tickets for the Basement Jaxx tour will go on general sale on Wednesday July 8 at 9am.

However, if you want to catch Basement Jaxx in festival action, you will be pleased to hear that tickets are still available for their upcoming festival appearances.

Basement Jaxx will be at The Big Chill Festival, which is taking place at the Hertfordshire Eastnor Castle (August 6-9), Creamfields 2009 at the Halton Daresbury Estate (August 29-30) and finally the Jersey Live Festival at the Trinity Royal Jersey Showground (September 5-6).
