It is rumoured that both Aerosmith and Beyonce are due to perform live at the forthcoming Formula 1 race in Abu Dhabi.
According to the concert promoter, Flash Entertainment, Beyonce and Aerosmith have been booked for the first ever concert at a Formula 1 race. Beyonce is set to open the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on October 29 and Aerosmith will bring the event to a close three days later on Sunday November 1.
This is set to be the first Grand Prix to take place in Abu Dhabi and a number of other special events have been planned to celebrate including a live performance by Timbaland and outdoor film screenings.
The Beyonce performance at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix comes midway through her forthcoming ‘I am Sasha Fierce..’ tour. Beyonce follows the F1 show with visits to Russia, Egypt and Greece. Shortly after, the Beyonce tour arrives in the UK.
The UK leg of the 2009 Beyonce tour kicks off on November 11 at Liverpool Echo Arena. Beyonce is also set to perform live in concert at a number of the UK’s top venues including London O2 Arena (November 14 & 16), Manchester Evening News Arena (November 18) and Nottingham Trent FM Arena (November 20) The Beyonce tour draws to a close at Belfast Odyssey Arena on November 24.
