Beyoncé’s UK Tour drawing to a close

MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 - Show

Beyoncé is playing five more dates in the UK and Ireland before the extended European portion of the I Am… Tour comes to a close.  These extra dates throughout November, which have taken in London, Dublin, Belfast, Nottingham, Liverpool, Birmingham and Newcastle, were announced in response to the overwhelming demand for Beyoncé tickets in advance of the initial leg in May and June 2009.

On Saturday 14th November at London’s O2 Arena, guest rapper and professional affirmative-action proponent Kanye West joined Beyoncé on stage to give his mad props to the former Destiny’s Child singer he thought should have won at October’s MTV Video Music Awards, instead of Taylor Swift – whose acceptance speech he gategrashed in order to give us all the benefit of his opinion.  But despite this, Beyoncé‘s reputation in Europe remained strong after she became a triple award winner at the MTV Europe Music Awards on November 6th, winning Best Female, Best Song, (“Halo”) and Best Video, (“Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”).  Beyoncé gave the crowd a storming rendition of current chart hit “Sweet Dreams”.

Tickets to Beyoncé’s remaining five shows in the British Isles are available to compare and buy now – at tixdaq.com.
