Billy Connolly returns to British stages in January 2010 as his UK tour kicks off with 15 dates at the HMV Apollo in Hammersmith, West London.  Billy has distilled an extraordinary career as an all-round entertainer with stints as a folk singer, TV comic, stand-up comedian, presenter and broadcaster, Hollywood actor and writer.  In the last year he has acted in the second X-Files feature film, presented a multi-episode TV documentary about Canada’s North-West Passage – thus continuing his fascination with the geography and people of the UK’s former colonies – released a DVD of his last tour and written material for this latest series of shows.
