Kevin Spacey picks up special award

Last Sunday (November 22), Kevin Spacey picked up a special prize at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards for his role as the Artistic Director at the Old Vic Theatre in London.
Kevin Spacey was awarded the prize by a director from the Moscow Arts Theatre at the ceremony that took place at London’s Royal Opera House.
During his time as Artistic Director at the Old Vic Theatre, Kevin Spacey has been responsible for bringing productions including Daid Mamet’s Speed the Plow, The Entertainer and the stage production on Pedro Almodovar’s film, All About My Mother.
Kevin Spacey actually starred alongside Jeff Goldbloom in the Old Vic production of David Mamet’s Speed the Plow last year and was one of the most critically acclaimed plays of the year.
Kevin Spacey is currently starring in the latest production of Inherit the Wind at the Old Vic with David Troughton and is proving to be hit with theatregoers in London.
