Following last night’s X Factor final, it is rumoured that Simon Cowell has said that he would like to bring Robbie on board as a judge for next year’s series.

According to the News of the World, Simon Cowell revealed that he thought Robbie Williams had ‘good instincts’ and would make a good judge because he does not take himself too seriously.

The 2009 X Factor final took place yesterday and Joe McElderry emerged victorious. The eighteen year old from South Shields beat Olly Murs to claim the X Factor crown in what was one of the closest run X Factor finals so far.

Both Joe McElderry and Olly Murs will be joining the rest of the X Factor finalists on the 2010 X Factor Live tour which kicks off in February.

The X Factor Live tour kicks off on February 15 at Liverpool Echo Arena. The X Factor Live tour includes visits to a number of top UK venues including the Birmingham LG Arena, Wembley Arena, Belfast Odyssey Arena and the MEN Arena.
