Simon Cowell certain of X Factor chart win
December 15th, 2009 by Jessica Martinez
Despite reports that Rage Against the Machine are ahead of the X Factor winner in this year’s Christmas number one chart race, Simon Cowell is insistent that the 2009 X Factor victor, Joe McElderry, will win the chart battle.
As previously reported by Tixdaq, Rage Against the Machine are slightly ahead in the chart race. However, the X Factor single has yet to be released as a physical product and many expect the cd sales to take Joe McElderry’s sales past their chart rivals.
Joe McElderry and the other X-Factor finalists will be on the road next year. The twelve finalists kick off the X-Factor Live tour in February and tickets are selling fast.
Dates for the 2010 X-Factor tour have already been announced and X-Factor Live tickets are available for all of the shows taking place in the UK. The X-Factor Live tour kicks off on February 15 at Liverpool Echo Arena. The X-Factor Live tour includes visits to a number of top UK venues including the Birmingham LG Arena, Wembley Arena, Belfast Odyssey Arena and the MEN Arena. The X-Factor live tour draws to a close at the Glasgow SECC on April 4.
