Leona Lewis to sing on Haiti Song

Leona Lewis has recently revealed that she will be one of the many stars contributing to the charity song for Haiti that is being set up by Simon Cowell.
Leona Lewis will join a long list of the UK’s top stars including Michael Buble and Rod Stewart who will covert he R.E.M track ‘Everybody Hurts’ to raise money for the people of Haiti.
According to the Sun newspaper, R.E.M’s manager Bertis Downs said that the band were “deeply touched” to learn their song has been chosen and are going to waive their royalties from the track.
As well as taking part in the Haiti charity song project, Leona Lewis will be back in the UK later this year for her 2010 tour.
The 2010 Leona Lewis tour begins in Sheffield Hallam FM Arena on May 28. Leona Lewis is set to perform live at a number of top venues across the UK including MEN Arena, London O2 Arena, Glasgow SECC and the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle. The tour draws to a close with two shows at the Cardiff International Arena on July 5 & 6.
