Vanilla Ice has praised X-Factor twins John and Edward Grimes after performing with them at the National Television Awards in London on Wednesday night. The love-them/hate them duo, popularly known as ‘Jedward,’ teamed up with the American rapper for a cover of his 90s hit ‘Ice Ice Baby’ at the O2 Arena. Afterwards, Vanilla was seen beaming about his hyperactive comrades, saying: ‘I think they’re great – I didn’t know much about them until a couple of weeks ago. ‘

The X Factor had earlier won the best talent show award at the ceremony.

Jedward will be on the road with the X Factor Live Tour from this February, where they’ll be performing live on stage with X Factor winner Joe McElderry as well as the other finalists. Tickets are selling out fast but hundreds are still available for a number of top UK venues.

The X-Factor Live tour kicks off on February 15 at Liverpool Echo Arena, before visits to the Birmingham LG Arena, Wembley Arena, Belfast Odyssey Arena and the MEN Arena among many others. The tour draws to a close at the Glasgow SECC on April 4.
