Alicia Keys has no plans to hang up her microphone once she reaches thirty. In an interview on BBC show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, she denied her previous plans for an early retirement and said she still had a lot more to give to music. She told him: ‘I was just saying that I would like the option to be able to retire by 30. I feel very blessed, but I definitely have so much more to do.’
Alicia will be in the UK this Spring when she will embark on her 2010 tour.
Alicia Keys kicks off her first tour since 2007 this May. The tour kicks off at the Birmingham NIA on 19th May, followed by performances at Glasgow’s SECC on 23rd May and London’s O2 Arena on 25th May, before drawing to a close at Manchester’s MEN Arena on 29th May.
