Rod Stewart has announced six new arena dates for his summer UK tour, due to popular demand. The ‘Maggie May’ singer will now take in 24 shows on his 2010 arena tour, which celebrates the release of his new album ‘Soulbook.’ The tour kicks off on May 15 in Belfast before nights across the UK including Newcastle, Birmingham and London.

The new dates are as follows:

Sheffield Arena – July 20th
Liverpool Echo Arena – July 21st
Glasgow SECC – July 26th
London O2 Arena – July 28th
Belfast Odyssey – Juy 30th
Dublin, The O2 – July 31st
