Massive Attack poster banned
February 9th, 2010 by Phil Lythell
It’s safe to say that Massive Attack are not happy bunnies after their promotional posters were taken down from the London Underground. The promotional posters, which promote new album ‘Heligoland,’ have been banned from being displayed on the London Underground by Transport for London – who feel the adverts look too much like graffiti.
Robert Del Naja told The Daily Star: ‘They want us to remove all drips and fuzz. It’s the most absurd censorship I’ve ever seen.’
Massive Attack draw their UK tour to a close with a massive gig at London’s Hammersmith HMV Apollo this Thursday (Feb 11), and Tixdaq.com can confirm that tickets are still available.
