Peter Kay and Liam Gallagher’s falling-out at the BRIT Awards looks set to continue after Kay implied that the Oasis guitarist is a ‘knobhead.’ On Tuesday’s night BRIT Awards, Gallagher stirred up controversy after he swore live on stage and threw his microphone into the crowd. Writing on his official website last night, funnyman Kay had this to say: ‘Congratulations to all the winners, including Noel Gallagher who sadly didn’t get a mention (and who thankfully isn’t a knobhead).’  

Peter Kay is set to tour the UK later this year with the ‘Tour that doesn’t Tour’ (tell that one to your mates). Everyone’s favourite Bolton resident - apologies to Vernon Kay – will perform his latest stand-up across the UK, including a huge 20-night residency at the MEN Arena and dates at London’s O2 Arena.
