France reshuffle team for crunch tie against Welsh
February 22nd, 2010 by Warren Moore
Favourites France have been forced into two changes to their starting fifteen for the upcoming game against Wales this Friday. Benjamin Fall and Julien Bonnaire will replace Fulgence Ouedraogo and Vincent Clerc for the side looking to maintain their perfect record in the competition, and who along with England are the only other nation retaining any possibility of winning the Grand Slam.
France are in good form having dominated last year’s winners Ireland at the Stade de France in their last outing, but the game at the Millennium Stadium could prove a stern test as the Welsh side look to build on their dramatic victory over Scotland. Wales will deem the clash crucial as a victory would reignite their hopes for the trophy, while a defeat would almost certainly put them out of the running after their prior loss to England.
