Westlife were named Best Pop Act at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards for a record tenth time. The boyband, who have enjoyed a career spanning more than a decade, were honoured at Dublin’s RDS venue last Friday night. Snow Patrol were named Best Band, while Florence and the Machine were given the Best International Band award.

Westlife kick off their 2010 UK tour in May and Tixdaq.com can reveal that tickets start from just 35 pounds. The boys have already managed to sell out a number of top UK venues, however we can reveal that tickets are still available.
