A revitalised Eminem will return to the UK for the first time in five years after he was confirmed as one of the headline acts for both Oxegen and T in the Park festivals. The last time we saw Eminem in mainland Britain was in 2005 but he was forced to cancel the entire European leg of his Anger Management tour due to an addiction to prescription drugs, and it is seven years since he was in Ireland. For these two festivals then, to have booked Eminem is quite a coup.

Eminem is arguably the most famous and successful rapper on the planet. His first three albums won the Best Rap Album Grammy, and he won a further award this year for his most recent album Relapse. He has sold over 80 million albums worldwide, which makes him one of the most successful recording artists of all time.
