Leona Lewis up for auction
February 23rd, 2010 by Liam Tailor
Leona Lewis is preparing to auction herself off in order to raise money for Oxfam’s Haiti earthquake appeal. The former X Factor winner will spend an afternoon with the highest eBay bidder, and is happy to go along with whatever they want – whether it be a dinner date, bowling or even horse riding.
Lewis told Gigswise: ‘I’ve been amazed and inspired by the courage of people in Haiti. What’s happened has been so devastating, and I really want to do anything I can to help. At times like this we’re reminded of how important it is to help.’ Bidding for Leona Lewis currently stands at £1,950 and ends next Monday.
Those not lucky enough to have Leona Lewis for an afternoon can still catch her on her upcoming UK tour. The 2010 Leona Lewis tour begins in Sheffield Hallam FM Arena on May 28, before performances at a number of top venues across the UK including MEN Arena, London O2 Arena, Glasgow SECC and the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle. The Leona Lewis tour draws to a close with two shows at the Cardiff International Arena on July 5 & 6.
We can confirm hundreds of Leona Lewis tickets are available online.
