Dannii Minogue’s position on the X Factor panel is up in the air, it was revealed yesterday. The Australian singer is due to give birth in July but this clashes with the show’s auditions, which start in June. ‘When the live auditions will be happening I will be in Australia giving birth, so I’m not being able to do that, unfortunately,’ she said. ‘I’ve not quit X Factor and I’d still love to be a part of the live shows further down the line. But that’s down to Simon Cowell and the producers really.’

Joe McElderry and the other X Factor contestants – including Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon and ‘Jedward’ – are currently performing across the UK as part of the X Factor Live tour.
