Paul Weller collected the final award at the NME Awards as he was crowned a Godlike Genius for his contribution to music over the last thirty-four years. After collecting the award last night at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, he treated the crowd to a six-song set featuring the UK hits ‘Start!’ and ‘Town Called Malice.’

Paul Weller is set for a five-night residency at the Royal Albert Hall in May. The Paul Weller residency at the Royal Albert Hall kicks off on Monday 24th of May, with performances on every single night, and draws to a close on Friday 28th.
