February 26th, 2010 by Liam Tailor

Ricky Gervais has stirred up rumours that he is set to leave Britain for the US. The former ‘Office’ star and hit stand-up comedian has been heavily involved with projects across the other side of the Atlantic recently, including a number of Hollywood roles, while hosting this year’s Golden Globes saw him emerge as a household name in the US. Gervais seems to relish his time in the country, saying this in The Mirror: ‘New York is a magical place, it gets me. Artists are more revered… I love it more and more and miss it when we’re in the UK.”

Ricky Gervais’ love of the UK is not over just yet, though, as he embarks on a new UK tour from March. His latest tour ‘Science’ includes visits to the Manchester Apollo, Dublin’s O2 Arena and Cardiff International Arena. The Ricky Gervais 2010 UK tour draws to a close with three dates at London’s Wembley Arena from April 28- 30.
