Jay-Z plans new material
March 1st, 2010 by Peter Bevan
Jay-Z could start recording the material for his next album later this year. The hit US rapper will be ocuupied with touring and promoting his latest album (‘Blueprint 3′) until late this year, but has implied he’d like to start recording new material sooner rather than later.
Speaking to the Press Association, Jay-Z said: ‘Maybe after I finish the BP3 tour, I’ll start another album. Maybe at the end of the year. We’ll see if the inspiration hits me.’
First of all, however, Jay-Z will be focussing on his three-date UK tour this summer. Jay-Z kicks off the tour with a show at MEN Arena from June 7, before also playing live at Birmingham LG Arena on June 9. The final Jay-Z date on the mini tour will take place at London’s Hyde Park on July 4 as part of the 2010 Wireless Festival. Jay-Z tickets are available to compare through Tixdaq.com.
