Mark Ronson has revealed that Lady GaGa advised him to have singing lessons before recording the material for his new album, ‘Record Collection.’ According to BBC News, GaGa recommended her voice coach to him before he started on collaborations with the Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears and Mike Snow. Ronson said: ‘We were working in the studio and I started singing and she said ‘take some lessons.”

Mark Ronson also said that his new record will be even be superior to Amy Winehouse’s seminal album ‘Back to Black,’ which he had a hand in producing. The ‘Record Collection’ is due to hit shelves in July, under the name ‘Mark Ronson and the Business.’

Mark Ronson is set to play at this year’s Lovebox Weekender festival. Its line-up already features the likes of Roxy Music, Grace Jones and Dizzee Rascal, and the three-day event runs from July 16-18 at London’s Victoria Park. Lovebox Weekender tickets are available to compare through Tixdaq.com.
