Festival season is almost upon us, with news of lineups and tickets going on sale practically constant in the music press. This evening at 5:55pm, V Festival 2010 announces its headline acts and tickets will be on sale this Friday 5th March at 9am.

V Festival has boasted brilliant performances from big-name acts every year since its inception, and last year saw Oasis headline their very last festival at Weston Park alongside Las Vegas rockers The Killers and Lady Gaga. This year’s lineup is strongly rumoured to be topped by Kasabian and Kings Of Leon, with Vampire Weekend the other act tipped to feature.
