After tickets for this year’s V Festival went on sale this morning, it has been confirmed by organisers that the event has sold out in just two hours. This comes as no surprise to music fans, with the festival boasting what many think is it’s best line-up yet.

The dual festival, which runs from August 21-22 in Chelmsford and Staffordshire, is being headlined by The Kings of Leon and Kasabian, with acts such as Cheryl Cole, Paul Weller, Madness, Stereophonics, Calvin Harris, The Kooks, Florence and the Machine and The Prodigy also set to appear.
