After making a triumphant return to live performance in the UK with a gig at Heaven in London last March, MGMT have announced an autumn tour of the UK and Ireland. The New York band behind hits such as Time To Pretend and Kids are to play seven concerts across the country, and tickets are on sale from today at 09:00!

The support act for the dates has yet to be announced, but full dates for the shows are listed below, along with what times doors open.

Dublin Olympia – September 16th 2010 – doors open 7:30pm
Glasgow, Barrowlands – September 20th 2010 – 7:00pm
Birmingham, O2 Academy – September 23rd 2010 – 7:00pm
Bournemouth, O2 Academy – September 24th 2010 – 8:00pm
Manchester, Apollo – September 26th 2010 – 8:00pm
London, Brixton O2 Academy – September 29th 2010 – 7:30pm
