The McLaren 1-2 in the last Formula One Grand Prix showed that both British drivers of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton have an excellent chance of victory in the British Grand Prix at Silverstone next month.

Although their Red Bull rivals Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel collided prior to their victory, there was still clear evidence that McLaren had narrowed the gap between Red Bull and themselves, and seem to be improving in every F1 race.

Despite the race being just over a month away in this engrossing season, British Grand Prix tickets are still on sale.

For Friday’s practice sessions, general admission Silverstone tickets are on sale from £192, rising to £999 for the optimum position in gold Block A of the pit straight.

By Saturday, practice is over. British Grand Prix qualification tickets are on sale from £390 for a General Admission roaming pass, which will give you the chance to see who will make it to pole position for the next day’s race.

Race day British Grand Prix tickets on Sunday 11th July are available from £170.50 for General Admission tickets.
