Paul McCartney tickets: Hard Rock Calling cheaper than stadium shows
June 16th, 2010 by Ewan Eyre
Paul McCartney is set to perform three more UK shows this month. The former Beatle will appear at Hampden Park Glasgow on Sunday 20th June, Cardiff Millennium Stadium on Saturday 26th June and at Hyde Park as part of the Hard Rock Calling Festival on Sunday 27th June.
Although selling out almost instantly when originally going on sale, Paul McCartney tickets are widely available on fan-to-fan ticket exchange market, and there are some interesting trends to be seen when comparing prices.
Whilst Paul McCartney tickets for his headline shows in Glasgow and Cardiff are available at below face value, it is his Hard Rock Calling appearance that currently displays the best value for money. General admission tickets can be bought for around £33 each, gaining the holder full entry for that day of the festival. Paul McCartney is headlining, but there will also be appearances from the likes of Crowded House, Elvis Costello and Crosby, Stills and Nash throughout the day.
