Jay-Z to help JLS launch higher profile in America

Having recently topped the charts with The Club Is Alive, it would be difficult to imagine things going much better for X Factor band JLS. However, rap mogul Jay-Z has taken a shine to the boyband, and wants to take the act to the United States!
Jay-Z was hosting a World Cup party backstage at Oxegen Festival in Dublin at the weekend, and was suitably impressed with JLS’ number one single to get in touch. He reportedly envisages them becoming stars in the vein of Boys II Men and Jodeci, so the fortunes of Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan “JB” Gill, and Oritsé Williams look very bright indeed.
Still, there is the chance to see the boys live in concert before they jet off across the Atlantic! JLS tickets are available for the following UK tour dates:
