The Script have breached the boundaries between soul and pop-rock to form almost a genre of their own: soul-pop-rock. The Irish band have won countless fans worldwide with cracking tracks such as We Cry and The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, and have had their music featured in popular TV show 90210.

New single For The First Time will be released on September 5th 2010, and second album Science & Faith will follow on September 13th. To promote their new music, the band have announced a UK tour to coincide – and The Script tickets will go on sale on Friday July 23rd 2010 at 09:00 a.m. The support act for all six concerts will be Illinois folk artist Lissie.

The Script and Lissie will play the following live dates:

September 12th 2010 – Leeds O2 Academy
September 13th 2010 – London Hammersmith HMV Apollo
September 15th 2010 – Edinburgh Corn Exchange
September 16th 2010 – Leicester De Montford Hall
September 17th 2010 – Portsmouth Guildhall
